Cristina 'Sol' Zaragoza was born on March 10th 1978 in Torrejon, Spain in a US Airforce base where her father was stationed. That same year her family returned to the United States where they resided. During her childhood years, she was dually raised in Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, California.

As early as age 4, she remembers contemplating life, time, space, and existence. She had a remembrance of past lives and was able to tap into her own essence and explore her innerworld. She had an ability to communicate and connect with spirits, faeries, and discarnates. She always felt different due to her experiences. Sol was raised catholic and understood the basics of religion and the hidden concepts within it, but never delved too far into them. She was exposed as a child to witchcraft, santeria, as well as many religions and faiths.

At age 11, she moved to Orange County, CA to live with her brother and father. At age 12, she became atheist. She was married by age 15 and divorced at age 33. In the last 19 years, she has birthed and rasied 4 children. Her children remind her that there is beauty and light in what she believed to be a dark and baren world. At age 15, while pregnant with her first son, she came to the realization that if she was carrying life within her, there had to be something "bigger out there". This led her on a search for knowledge and awareness, and as a result she began exploring different religions.

Throughout most of her life, Sol experimented with a wide variety of mind altering substances which clouded her perception of the magnificence that exists all around her. It also desensitized her to the disfunctional environment that she was a part of.

At age 30, she met her soul family who embodied a spiritual way of life and an love based consciousness. In the early stages of her awakening, she was exposed to various conspiracy theories that projected much fear. She began to research more of the dynamics of the world and eastern philosophy. On January 5th, 2010 Sol experienced a physical awakening which activated more of her true self. This lead her to a process of forgiveness of self and others, as well as allowing her to shed victim consciousness belief systems. Having had a profound influence on her development, it showed her that fear based belief systems are self-destructive. This resulted in realizing that forgiveness, compassion, and love are the attitudes that were able to transform her life in a positive way.

She began attending the Self Realization Fellowship meditations at the Temple in Fullerton, CA. As time progressed, she met more like minded people and was 're-introduced' to universal energy and the shift that is occurring on the planet now. As her group expanded, she began attending gatherings on spiritual awareness as well as other events created by Portal to Ascension.

Sol began facilitating Portal to Ascension events in November of 2011 and assisted in creating the west coast Galactic Remembrance Tour. She is now an integral part of Portal to Ascension, managing and assisting in raising consciousness through Sound, Vibration and hands on energy work.
