MUFON OC PRESENTS:
Dev Rugne has completed over 900 cases as a MUFON Field Investigator. Dev became interested in UFOs at an early age. She has researched and independently investigated UFO/UAPs beginning in the 1970s. She joined MUFON in 2008 and became the Oregon MUFON Chief Investigator. In April of 2009, MUFON launched the Star Impact Project (SIP). Dev was hired to conduct SIP investigations for Oregon MUFON, and was also hired as the SIP Dispatch Operator, monitoring MUFON’s database for incoming sighting reports that meet the criteria for rapid deployment.
When she moved back to Northern California from Oregon in early 2010, Dev became a Section State Director for seven counties, then became the Chief Investigator later that year. Dev is now the Assistant State Director and is on the MUFON STAR team, an elite group of field Investigators that investigates the best sighting cases nationwide. Dev was also on the SAT team for a time.
Recently, Dev released her book "A Personal Look into Circumstance, Investigations, and Discovery" about her time investigating sightings with MUFON. Dev has been on a number of UFO-related radio shows and podcasts. She also was featured on a segment on the Travel Channel's "Mysteries of the Outdoors" Season 2, Episode 10, entitled "Reptoid Conspiracies." In March this year, she was interviewed by George Noory on Coast to Coast AM.
Dev will speak about some of the many cases that she has investigated, including several from her new book.
