MUFON OC PRESENTS:

“Lets Look…” is a fun discussion of the Universe and primer for the night sky. Participants learn about the night sky, what we see, how it can appear, and what types of phenomena can be seen with the unaided eye. Then later we discuss apps on smart phones that can provide the user/FI with the armament to know EXACTLY what is being seen in the night sky at any time of the night, any time of the year. Many of the apps, not written by us, are a nominal charge and provide the user/FI with a toolbox they can bring to bear on any phenomenon to either show that it is an ordinary object or perhaps an ordinary object captured in an extraordinary manner. There is always a chance that what is being seen is NOT an ordinary nor human made object. Now that’s the thrill of looking up!
