The Endocannabinoid System

Ruth Hill (RN, BSN, MAT, CHPN, COM-MC) brings over 54 years of nursing from a multitude of settings including hospice, palliative care, executive management in the home health industry, and teaching of nursing in Associate Degree Programs. An entrepreneur having started a six-bed residential facility for the elderly, a consultant for home health agencies a lecturer on health and palliative care all provided an effective segue into cannabis consulting for health and wellness. Ruth spent the previous fifteen years in hospice and palliative care, the last four years learning the science behind cannabis. Ruth is certified in hospice and palliative care, is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association, the American Cannabis Nurses Association, Rancho Mirage Wordkeepers, Palm Springs Writers Guild and the Treasurer of the Desert Area Chapter of Oncology Nursing Society. She is a prolific writer of poetry and publishes articles on cannabis and health issues in the local paper.
