Pagan Origins Of Christmas & New Years Eve 2026
About This Video
Here we are once again. It’s time for the 7th Annual presentation on The Pagan Origins of Christmas & New Year’s. With each passing year, I continue to deepen and expand this exploration by uncovering even more fascinating historical connections, hidden symbolism, and forgotten traditions. Although I was raised within the Hindu tradition, Christmas was always a meaningful part of my life. I grew up believing in Jesus and in the understanding that divine messengers and enlightened beings have appeared across many cultures throughout human history.
Within the Vedic worldview, there is no belief that only one path leads to God. After my spiritual awakening, there was a period in my life when I thought I would completely detach from holidays and traditions tied to organized religion, especially dates like the widely misinterpreted birthday of Yeshua. But then I began uncovering the deeper layers behind Christmas itself: its pagan origins, the evolution of Santa Claus mythology, the symbolism of Christ Consciousness, the Tree of Life, altered states of awareness, ancient mushroom rituals, and the profound interconnectedness woven throughout these traditions. Rather than turning away from the holiday, I found myself reconnecting to it with an entirely new level of awareness, one that transcends both dogma and commercialism.
So here we are once again, PTA Family, ready to journey through the rich tapestry of ancient traditions that shaped some of the most celebrated holidays in the world today. Drawing from historical research, comparative mythology, and esoteric symbolism, this presentation will explore the origins of winter solstice celebrations such as Yule and the Roman festival of Saturnalia, while also examining lesser-known connections involving sacred plants, ritual practices, and the spiritual themes hidden beneath modern customs. Together, we will uncover the threads that connect the ancient and modern worlds, revealing a deeper understanding of the season and the timeless wisdom encoded within it.
